Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Altona Jet Aviation LLC (“Altona Jet”, “we”, “us”), 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, USA, collects and uses personal data when you use altonajet.com, our customer area, our phone line and our services. 1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, e-mail address, phone number, address and date of birth, and your password (stored only in hashed form).
• Booking data: travel details (route, dates, number of passengers, special requests) and the passenger details the operator or supplier needs (name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and expiry date).
• Billing and payment data: billing name, address, country, phone and e-mail, and payment records (amounts, references, bank transfer details). Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
• Agreements and acceptance records: signed charter agreements and, when you accept our Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy, the date, time, IP address and the version you accepted.
• Communications: e-mails, messages and enquiry forms. If you call our phone line, the call is answered by an automated voice assistant; we keep the number you called from and a summary of your request so that our team can follow up.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and the cookies described in section 7.

2. Why we use it

• To handle your requests and bookings: forwarding them to operators and suppliers, preparing your agreement, taking payment, issuing invoices and sending booking e-mails (to perform our contract with you).
• To meet legal obligations: accounting and tax records, sanctions and anti-fraud checks, and requests from authorities.
• To keep our site and services secure and to prevent misuse (our legitimate interests).
• To send you offers such as daily empty leg notifications, only if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time (your consent).

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: aircraft operators and the flight-booking platforms through which we contact them; hotel, transfer and activity suppliers; payment providers and our bank; our electronic signature provider (for agreements); the providers that host our systems, send our e-mails and run our phone line; and authorities where the law requires it (for example passenger information for border control). We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our operators and suppliers are located around the world, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

5. How long we keep it

We keep booking, agreement and payment records for as long as accounting and tax law requires and as needed to establish or defend legal claims. Account data is kept while your account exists. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy of it and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use these rights, e-mail sales@altonajet.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, for example to keep you signed in, to remember your search and to protect forms against misuse. Where we use optional cookies, such as analytics, we ask for your consent where the law requires it, and you can change your choice at any time.

8. Security

We protect your data with technical and organisational measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls for our staff. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. Details of children travelling as passengers are provided by the adult making the booking and are used only for that booking.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
