Citation XLS + Details

The mid-sized Citation XLS derived from the Citation Excel, but could go faster and further. The Citation XLS+ is an improved version of the already successful Citation XLS, featuring better performance capabilities by way of upgraded engines. The XLS+ received FAA certification in 2008. The Citation XLS+ is technically a mid-sized jet – its cabin length is 18.7 feet and it can fly up to 1,858 nautical miles; however, it can also take off in 3,560 feet and climb to cruise altitude in just 15 minutes, performance statistics reminiscent of light private jets. At any rate, the XLS+ boasts excellent handling capabilities, reliable systems, and consistent delivery of smooth, quick flights. Private Jet Photo Cessna Citation XLS+ interiorThe 5.7 feet high interior of the XLS+ holds nine passengers in a cabin that’s quiet and draft-free, due to the triple-sealed entry door and triple-pane windows. Details like fold-out tables, sliding headrests, and seats two to four inches wider than in previous models make flying comfortable. A couch (rated to takeoff/landing safety standards) comes standard. Indirect LED lighting is installed to give the cabin a roomier, more natural feel and comes with the benefits of producing less heat and lasting longer. An external compartment provides 80 cubic feet of storage space, along with an additional 10 cubic feet in an internal closet.

An empty leg is a one-way flight that the operator has to fly anyway to position its aircraft for another mission, offered at a reduced price. Its date, time and route depend on that mission.
The operator has to fly this leg anyway, so it offers it at a lower price rather than flying without passengers. Advertised savings are indicative.
Usually not. The route and timing are set by the operator's main mission. If you need a different route or time, request a regular charter instead.
As soon as possible. Empty legs are limited and remain subject to the operator's availability until your booking is made. Online requests are accepted up to 12 hours before departure.
No payment is taken when you send a request. We pass it to the operator. Once the price is confirmed, you sign the Empty Leg Charter Agreement and then receive the payment instructions. The leg is booked only when the agreement is signed and your full payment has been received.
Special requests such as catering, pets or ground transport need the operator's approval, are included only if confirmed in your agreement or in writing by us, and are usually charged as extras. On an empty leg, baggage space and on-board services can be more limited than on a regular charter.
Yes. The operator may change, delay or cancel an empty leg at short notice, even after booking. If it cancels the leg, or changes its date, an airport (to one more than 100 km away that does not serve the same area) or the departure time by more than 3 hours, you may cancel and receive a full refund. We recommend keeping alternative travel plans.
